Hi, I'm Patrick.

Seven Locks is a multidisciplinary brand and creative studio, a side-hustle by Patrick Murray.

I earned my degree in art history. I love learning how civilizations use image and story to drive belief and inspire action.

My first "regular" job was teaching middle school history and science, where I honed my own storytelling to motivate and form young men.

After a few years in the classroom, I began consulting in sacred art, helping churches across North America point to the transcendent with sacred sign and symbol.

From there, I moved into communications and marketing leadership, where I discovered how strategy and storytelling work together to shape belief at scale.

I directed a global rebrand for a high-growth security company, and most recently I've led brand marketing and creative for one of America’s most trusted names.

My professional skillset is:

When I’m not hunched over a desk, I like soccer, running and forests. I will gladly accept payment in cases of Spindrift. I’m proud to raise my growing family on the Great Plains.
